About

Taylor Wells, LCSW

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a master's degree from the University of Utah, specializing in eating disorders, body image, and perinatal mental health. I work with adult women across Utah — in person in Draper and via telehealth statewide.

My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Health at Every Size (HAES) principles, and Intuitive Eating frameworks. That means treatment is evidence-based and structured, but always adapted to your real life — not a one-size-fits-all protocol.

I've worked across levels of care including intensive treatment and private practice, which has given me deep respect for the complexity of eating disorders and the courage it takes to seek help.

This work is also personal to me. As a woman, a mother, and someone who lives in Utah — a state with some of the highest rates of eating disorders in the country — I understand the cultural pressure to shrink yourself, eat perfectly, and hold it all together. I've navigated my own relationship with body image, diet culture, and the identity shifts that come with motherhood. That experience has given me a deep understanding of how exhausting it is to push back against messages you've been absorbing your whole life.

Outside of work I'm usually with my family, skiing, reading, or convincing myself my dog needs more cuddles than he’s already getting.
